Meet Our Jonesboro Dental Team

Brigitte is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Brigitte attended Arkansas State University and received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Meridian, Mississippi. In addition to providing patient care, she can also be found helping in the front office. Brigitte enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with her family.

Shalena is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Shalena graduated from Arkansas State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been serving the patients of Troy Bartels, DDS since 2010. Her favorite part of her job is educating her patients on how to keep healthy, beautiful smiles. Shalena and her husband, Brandon, have two children, Claira and Bennett. When she is not in the office, she likes to spend her time enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Nicole is a registered dental hygienist. Nicole graduated from Lyon College with her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then graduated from Concorde career college with her degree in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite part of her job is getting to interact with patients and helping them regain their confidence in their smile. Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Jessica graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor’s of Health Science and Dental Hygiene. She joined the Troy Bartels, DDS team in 2019. Her favorite part of working here is all the patients she’s been able to get to know and care for. Jessica and her husband Ben are both from Dexter, MO but have enjoyed making Jonesboro their home! When she’s not working she loves going for walks, cooking, or watching reality TV!

Sarah is a Registered Dental Assistant and joined our team in November 2017. Sarah works chairside with Dr. Bartels assisting in procedures. When she’s not at the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Timothy, daughter Kynley and dog Millie. She loves warm weather and hanging out by the water.

Sandy is our Schedule Coordinator. She has been with our team since November 2018. Sandy is the first person to greet you when you walk in the door. She will be the friendly voice you will hear when she calls to confirm or schedule your appointment. Sandy lives in Leachville with her husband, Josh, and Children Craig and Emily. They enjoy traveling and watching movies. She is also an active member of her church.

Nicole is our Financial Coordinator. She has been with our team since 2022. She is the one who checks your insurance and makes sure all information is accurate and is able to assist with financial questions. Nicole is originally from Idaho and moved to Arkansas in 2007. Nicole and her husband, Landon, have 4 children. When she is away from the office she enjoys reading and tending to her plants.
